Litter Box Training 101
Most people never think of litter box training a rabbit but it is possible and it is so worth learning! You may not know that rabbits naturally tend to go to the bathroom in certain places (like one corner). Their litter box should be a safe space where they can feel secure and not feel invaded by others.
We highly recommend spaying and neutering your rabbits!
Rabbits reach “puberty” when they are between 4-6 months old. This is when their hormones kick in, they tend to become more territorial which leads to marking. Sterilizing not only prevents unwanted pregnancies and decreases their chances of reproductive cancers, but also calms them, improves their behavior, and increases the chances of them using a litter box.
